This was taken in Reims just before the bike fell over with my son Ben sat on it. We then turned around and rode 685 miles straight home. Not bad milage for a 9 year old dont you think.

Not happy with the fact the whole mirror assembly and throtle twisted round, the pannier nearly end up touching the back wheel and the crash bars all scratched up not forgetting the locking mechanism in the top box racking to pieces inside the LOCKED Top box! I set to and "Farkled Mr. T to what he is today.

This was my "Shake Down Run" To Colditz in the former East Germany. IBA RTE in October

Setting off at 5.00am with -2 showing was a real eye opener, the fog brought it down to -6 on the way back. Mates had heated vests no such luck for me.

The dot in the background is the Cat & Fiddle Pub. Being Derbyshire born n bread I spend a fair bit of time in the Peak District but love the Lake District too.

So if anyone is out and about round Rochdale, Matlock or Kendal get in touch it would be great to meet fellow Tenere Fanatics

To satisfy my curiosity could you tell me why you have non matching wind deflectors? I presume there is something to be gained, I haven't seen this before.

The clutch side looks like a the standard Yamaha one but the throttle side looks like a tourtech or something with a red extension or is it a trick of the camera?

I reckon you'll find they're just photo's taken at different stages of modification, ie an early shot with the original handguards and a second with the Touratech handguards from later on.
