Hi Guys & Gals
Well I have been planning a workshop meet for next year. Here is the plan so far.
Date 2-5 June 2012
These dates are the bank holidays in the UK and the 5th which is a Tuesday is the Queens Jubilee.
The dates are set, but should give you enough time to arrange leave or to swap shift.
I am also in negotiations with the ferry companies to try and get a good deal for the European riders to join us, the ferry crossing is from Calais to Dover and then just half an hour to the campsite.
Campsite location: the black horse pub

Wheel balancing
Basic tool kit for trips
Basic fault finding
Good maintenance checks
Balancing carbs with demo
Talk about the Iron Butt Association
Please, if you have any other topics you would like to talk about please let me know, i would also like to ask the members to also participate by giving some of the lectures, maybe it's a modification you have done and can explain how you went about doing it.
I am also planning to get some xt1200z sponsors in with some gear, and to see about getting in a Yamaha technician in to go over maintenance points and things to look out for.
It will also be a day for the members to meet each other, over a beer or two,

so there will be no rides planned for this day, so you will be able to relax and enjoy the company, talk bikes and maybe even learn a little.
I will be holding a few Competitions, like best looking bike, most innovative modifications, most helpful etc
All to be voted by members at workshop, and will also hold a raffle.
Saturday evening, we are planning a barbecue with salads or a lamb on a spit roast depending on the number of members attending.
I am also trying to arrange a few businesses to come and sell at the workshop or at least to donate prizes and if you can speak to your local dealers for a donation for the meet that would be great, the more prizes we can give away.
Would like to also get your opinion to whether I should get a T-Shirts or a sticker made for the meet.
The charity we will be supporting this year is the Kent Air Ambulance service, and will have a collection box to collect funds at the meet.
Sunday’s ride will be a trip around Kent visiting rye, battle of Briton war museum, Dover Castle with a bit of off roading too, not too difficult.
Sunday night: Pub night get together
Monday there is two options, either pack up and head home or we could organize a ride out.
Well that's the plan of action so far, i have started to plan this early to give you all a chance to make arrangements, so please lets have a great turn out for the meet, so we can put some names to faces and have a good laugh.
