Hey guys.
Has anyone ever bought Heavy Duties pannier sets? If so how are they. Any good? How was delivery etc. Also what do you think 39 or 48 ltr?
Need to get some for travels and it seems the only set around.
Any help would be great.
Cheers guys.

Hi mate,
Not panniers, but i've had frames & a centre stand from them plus seen a set of their crash bars.
Build quality & finish seems good, i got regular emails from them to ensure they supplied the right bits and delivery was quick. Its just a shame they're not in the UK as postage costs bump up the (very reasonable) prices.
i think Shunt got frames from them as well & felt they were a little wide so maybe worth a pm to him to check ?
Hope to catch up soon at one of the ABR rallies
Cheers, Gary

He was quite quick on replying to emails when I dealt with him.
I did get pannier racks from him. We did discuss makin them less wide. But my time restraints meant it was easier to get the standard width an tweak them at a later date.

Build quality is very good as is the finish.
Also the postage was quite quick too.
Nice to fit. Plus a good guy to deal with.

Thanks pete,
I emailed them about nearly a week ago but not heard back. Do you mind me asking what email addy you contacted him on?
I used the main one on thier website but nothing yet. Really keen to get some as I have some travelling to do.
Silly thing is i'm an Engineer and could make them myself but really cant be arsed.

Cheers,
Mark.

I have just returned from a round trip to Alaska from the UK, I used Metal Mules panniers ,they took all the punishment 20k of off road riding could give them, Ive seen nothing better but at a price and go for the smaller ones no matter how large they are you'll just fill them. ride safe ,Guzziman
